Spring has Sprung! April is full of musical projects.

Sirius Quartet performs the premiere of my new string quartet #6 “New World Nov. 9 2016” at Princeton on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 8pm. The show is Free and takes place in the Taplin Auditorium in Fine Hall.

On May 23, 2017 Richie Beirach turns 70 and I turn 50. To celebrate our birthdays ACT is releasing 2 new albums, Richie Beirach & Gregor Huebner Live at Birdland New York featuring Randy Brecker, George Mraz and Billy Hart and Monteverdi in the Spirit of Jazz – Various Artists. The CDs will be released on April 28 in Europe and May 26 in the US.

Jazz Podium Featured Richie and me on the cover of the April issue. The interview talks about the new recording and our upcoming tour.

Lastly, I invite you to become a producer of my upcoming album, El Violin Latino – Vol. 3: The Cuba Volume. This 3rd album of Latin Jazz compositions will focus on Cuban Music. Please contribute today.
