I recorded this video with the great brass quartet Tetra Brass in Munich. It’s based on Bach’s choral “Es ist genug – It is enough.”
Here are some excerpts from the original text which pretty much describe the artists and many other people’s situation during this difficult time.
Wie lang, wie lange muß ich sehnen? Wann ists genug?
How long, how long must I yearn? When is it enough?

In the midst of the pandemic when none of us is sure when the “norm” will ever come back, we were absolutely blessed to be playing for the audience of Detroit Institute of Art through a camera. Detroit, we hope you enjoyed our concert, we will see you in person soon, we hope. Please enjoy the music and the wonderful video shot and edited by Mr. Simon C.F. Yu.
Program:
Chano Dominguez, solo piano
Jennifer Choi/Kathleen Supove Duo
Sirius Quartet
Due to Covid-19, Sirius Quartet was forced to cancel our festival this year and move the event online instead. It is such an honor to have Andreas Kolb, the Chief Editor of Germany’s legendary Neue Musikzeitung, to introduce the festival, vielen dank! Our deepest gratitude towards our colleagues and friends, Chano Dominguez, Jennifer Choi and Kathleen Supove, for contributing their sets, despite their busy schedules!
