These conservatory-trained performer-composers shine with precision, soul and a raw energy that audiences adore. The ensemble champions a forward-thinking, genre-defying approach and has appeared at venues that include Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, the Stuttgart Jazz Fest and the Beijing Music Festival. Its members are: Fung Chern Hwei and Gregor Huebner, violins; Ron Lawrence, viola; and Jeremy Harman, cello. At Wave Hill, the ensemble offers works inspired by Argentinian tango, Afro-Cuban rhythms and a one-of-a-kind take on the Beatles’ “Eleanor Rigby”. Performances begin at 2PM and last approximately one hour with no intermission.
