March 2018

Gregor Huebner News

Dear Friends,

Sirius Quartet and pianist John Escreet just wrapped up a wonderful weekend performing in the ETHEL and Friends music series at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts’ Balcony Bar. It was an honor to be invited to perform at the Met. Thanks to Ethel for the invitation.

On March 24, Sirius Quartet will be performing in Kansas City. In April we perform at Wave Hill in NYC, plus 2 performances at the University of Maryland in College Park.

El Violin Latino’s new album – the Cuban Volume is nearing completion. We’ll have our last recording session with harpist Edmar Castañeda next and are working on a video of THE DREAMERS – LOS SOÑADORES song. We will continue to mix the songs for the album and master it for a Fall 2018 release.

This month my big focus is the European New York Jazz Collective. It was initiated by the Theaterhaus Stuttgart and is part of their annual Theaterhaus Jazz Festival. It’s a very creative, exciting project and we are performing on Friday, March 30th.

I would love to see you at one of these performances.

Regards,

Gregor
