Dear friends,

Summer is almost over and I hope it was a wonderful one for all of you. I am gearing up for a very busy fall with some great things happening.

Sirius Quartet is eager to begin its fall season. In addition to our Richie Beirach led piano quintet performance at Bonn Jazzfestival, Sirius will join the virtuoso improvising harpist Evelyn Huber for several concerts in Germany. In typical Sirius fashion we’ll start our tour with an unusual and exciting collaboration in Prague, this time with the maverick Iranian-American harpsichord sensation, Mahan Esfahani.

With Sirius Quartet we are taking Progressive Chamber Music Festival international! To celebrate the Third Annual Progressive Chamber Music Festival in New York we are curating it the first time for two days in Munich featuring unique local performers pushing the boundaries of traditional chamber music. Sirius will also record a live concert for vinyl at world famous Bauer Studios.

And…we are going on a cruise! The Sirius Quartet and the fabulous and world known soprano Marlis Petersen will be performing while sailing from the Canary Islands to Capetown this November.

We get back to New York in time for our third Progressive Chamber Music Festival November 10 & 11 with a lineup that will include Neue Vocalsolisten from Stuttgart, Erik Friedlander, String Noise, David Krakauer and other musicians changing the face of chamber music.

In October I am playing concerts with Richie Beirach in Istanbul and at the enjoy jazz festival in Schwezingen. As a soloist I perform a new and innovative arrangement of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with the Bosch Big Band and the Bosch Streichersolisten at Liederhalle in Stuttgart.

I also will finish mastering my El Violin Latino Volume 3 CD which will be released in January 2019. I can’t wait to share it with everyone!

The video of Los Soñadores/Dreamers premiered on May 4, 2018 is getting more important each and every day in our world, that’s why I send it to you again to share it with all your friends. The video has been viewed on Facebook nearly 10k times. Facebook is no longer allowing us to boost it, they say it’s a Political Message. Initially they allowed us to boost it, and the song was incredibly popular in the U.S., Central and South America. Now we need to spread the word about this video even further.
