Dear Friends,

This is my final newsletter for 2023. Wow, it has been a busy year!

Thank you all for taking part in my musical journey. It’s amazing for me to have so many people following my work. Being able to spend almost 2 months in Dakar and study the Senegal culture was a blast and there is more to come. I am planning to return to Senegal and other African countries in 2024.

Sirius Quartet just finished a tour in Germany including our Progressive Chamber Music Festival in Munich. It was a big success. Here is a nice write up in the Süddeutsche Zeitung. The headline “The Professor’s Project” made me smile. 

We just had the opportunity to record new music with Sirius Quartet in Munich for a a new album we will release in 2024. The session was very exciting.

For our annual tradition we end the year with Berta Epple “Unterm Baum.” The Frankfurt Newspaper called it an “anarchic Christmas program.” I am looking forward to seeing some of you at a holiday show.
